Breeding
since 1996 with Persians, Himalayans & Exotic SH, in all colors
but focusing on the rare chocolate & lilac. Chocolate tortie and
lilac cream should be bred in 2003 as well as my first chocolate and
lilac bicolors and van. A new step for my breeding is on its way. All
my cats are PKD tested.
When I started breeding in 1996, I didn't already know I'd focus in
chocolate and lilac series. At that time I only wanted to have kittens
around me. But time after time, especially when I purchased all information
I could find about the breed and the chocolate and lilac colours, I
really understood I was lucky to own a chocolate persian (Myléna
de la Marjolaine). Yeah, these colours was so rare to find!
I
was amazed to know how looks like a lilac persian, as it was quite impossible
to find or to see one. So I decided to "make" my own lilac
kitten ! "O'lilac dream du Domaine des Petites Peluches" was
born in 1998 from my chocolate persian girl mated to her son (a black
persian). Ok; he was not a show quality kitten but he was lilac ! It
was the first time I saw this colour in a persian and O'lilac was very
"special" to me for his sweet temper.
Well, I didn't keep him but decided to import my first chocolate persian
male from Canada. Degentilly Star came to me later on. From this boy
was born in 2000, my first lilac & chocolate persian kittens show
quality.
Especially my International Champion Choco'land Rare Beauty, who made
many BIV and was nominated for the BIS in France.
In 2001, she has bred a lovely blue point and in 2002, her first bicolor
kitten, Choco'land Tularévé. In the summer, I've been
contacted by a feline magazine for an article about the lilac persian,
especially about my breeding. For 2003, I hope for my
first bicolor and van kittens in lilac! As well as in solid and colourpoint
in lilac and chocolate.
